eSoftHead has just released Engroup 1.5 – Milestone 1. The functional features are included as plan. The major changes in this release that we applied enterprise architect practices to improve system responsive time, scalability, stablility and they are base to help engroup solve complex enterprise solutions such as distributing caching, clustering etc in engroup 2.0. You could check out some screenshots of Engroup 1.5 M1 at http://www.flickr.com/photos/34441795@N06/sets/72157616946782473/. The good news that we complete all development tasks. Only some stuffs need to be completed such as updating documentations. Keep the status 2-3 days for engroup 1.5 M1.

@Xie,
Thanks for your interest to our project. Unfortunately, we do not have a public svn right now. The Engroup 1.5 M1 is nearly completed in functional requirements however we are implementing enterprise architect patterns to enable Engroup serve enterprise needs better, here are some of them:
– Modular application: we replace the non-persistent message (Osgi event) by persistent message (via messaging server ActiveMQ)
– ESB: we use Spring Integration as our bus to exchange messages among our modules.
– REST: we enable REST support that add REST in existing module very easy.

And we are busy with our commercial project too, however our core development team is working hard to release 1.5 M1 soon. I will inform you by email whenever we have news in Engroup 1.5. Thanks for follow.
